A trigger jumps to a scene, holds it for a few seconds and then puts back whatever was
playing. Point motion at the path and the house reacts when somebody
walks up it.

Bloom and grading are applied by every projector identically, after all the effects.
This is what makes light look like it is falling on brickwork rather than pasted onto it.

Add video, image or sound…
Files stay on this machine, stored in the browser. Every projector tab reads video and
images from the same local store, so nothing is uploaded and nothing is re-encoded.
Sounds play from this tab only — pick them from a trigger.

No camera to hand? Trace on a photograph instead. Take it from where the camera will
stand on the night and the shapes will land close enough to nudge into place.

Square up the wall
The camera sees the wall at an angle, and anything the app generates — brickwork,
grids, anything that tiles — inherits that angle. Mark something you know is
rectangular and say what shape it really is, and generated texture becomes uniform
on the building instead of on the picture.

Depth scan
Walk round the front of the house with a scanning app — Polycam, Scaniverse,
anything that exports a .glb — and the app can find the windows itself and light
the building’s real surface instead of painting on it. Export with compression
turned off.
Import a 3D scan…

Place it on the camera view…
Point at the same thing in both pictures. The scan’s own corners are blank
render and sky with nothing to line them up against, and a scan that stops
short of the roof has its top edge across the middle of the house — so
features are the only reliable thing to aim at.

Relief
How far out of the wall something has to stand before it counts as a feature,
in millimetres. Twenty clears brickwork and render; a window reveal gives you
fifty to a hundred.

The sound of the show
Water lapping, legs skittering, thunder on the flash. Synthesised
from whatever layers are on, and played here — this is the machine
with the speakers. Each layer's own level is under it in the
inspector and on the remote; where several layers make the same
noise, one of them carries it and holds the fader.
